Poverty in Africa is probably the worst. Many children are deprived of necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter. For them, to survive means everything. If you talk about education, it is nothing but a far-fetched dream. As individuals from developed countries, it’s time we donate and help in education for African children and share the smile as they acquire education. Many elementary-aged children in Africa don’t even meet minimum reading proficiency standards, the future can look bleak. However, together, we can do more than just get kids in the classroom — we can empower them for a brighter future.
